Verification
Each published day carries a SHA-256 hash of that day's numbers together with the previous day's hash, so the whole history is chained: changing any past day changes every hash after it. The chain below is recomputed from the published numbers each time this page loads.

Recompute it yourself
For each day, in date order, compute SHA-256 of the text
book_key|YYYY-MM-DD|index to 8 decimals|daily return to 12 decimals (empty on the first day)|previous hash
where the previous hash of the first day is 64 zeros. The result must equal that day's
row_hash. The JSON files above contain every field needed.
